An already crowded marketplace for mobile gaming devices is getting more jam-packed.
In addition to Amazon's plan to bring new cloud-game-ready Kindle Fire HD devices to market, toss in an expected Apple mini-iPad and upcoming Xbox-friendly Windows 8 phones. Also coming: a kid-centric PlayMG handheld and the larger Wikipad gaming tablet.

We have all heard this at one time or another. In this age of technology our children seem to be younger and younger for being able to use devices.
But sometimes we need our phone. Or we are not willing to let them go hog wild and buy all these different apps they want.

When it comes to the dedicated portable games market, Nintendo is unquestionably still the leader. While 3DS got off to a slow start, sales have picked up very nicely, fueled by stronger software and a price cut. With over 19 million sold, 3DS is the king of portables, but Nintendo and the entire handheld market faces increasing pressure from smartphones and tablets. Now a startup called PlayMG is attempting to leverage the best of the Android market as a way to shake up the portable gaming sector.
